Mary Elder Jacobsen
Mary Elder Jacobsen lives in rural Vermont, where she works in editing, the arts, and local community interests. After receiving a BA in Art with Honors from Goucher College, she earned an MA from The Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins and an MFA from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her poetry has appeared in journals such as Cold Mountain Review, Four Way Review, Green Mountains Review, and Cincinnati Review, and is forthcoming in The Greensboro Review, the American Journal of Poetry, the anthology The Path to Kindness: Poems of Connection and Joy, and elsewhere. She is coordinator of Words Out Loud, a Fall reading series of Vermont authors held in a still-unplugged 1823 meetinghouse.
