Henry Bohan
Henry Bohan is a poet and artist born and raised in New York. His work centers on themes of rejecting nihilism and resignation; accepting life and material existence as transient, always in rapid motion. Mantles of power and mass always fall apart. The material signs in the poem as such act as conduits for the infinite, for the tendency to hold onto pain and reject the unquantifiable when we should embrace the unquantifiable. Authors he owes a lot to are Yusef Komunyakaa, Rae Armantrout, Reza Negarestani, and Søren Kierkegaard, to name a few. He has been previously published in the Underground, the literary magazine for Mount St.Vincent College; the College Hill Independent; Field by XYZZY; online at Spectra Journal; online at Beautiful Days Press’s Works and Days.
