Alex Checkovich

Alex Checkovich is an instructor of “the body in space” at the University of Richmond, where he teaches freshman seminars called “Nature-,” “Health-,” and “Technology in American History.” His true love is inventing/discovering hermit-crab essays, Oulipo nonfictions, and prose hybrids. His works are out or forthcoming with Territory, PANK, Passages North, Seneca Review, Sycamore Review, Fiction International, Infinity’s Kitchen, surfaces.cx, Crab Fat, Gravel, and Badlands.
