James M. Magrini
James M. Magrini taught philosophy and ethics at the College of Dupage (USA) for over fifteen years and is now an independent scholar and member of the National Coalition of Independent Scholars (NCIS). He was named the college’s Outstanding Liberal Arts Educator in 2013. In addition to publishing many articles in peer-reviewed philosophy journals, he is the author of eight books, which include the most recent monographs: Ethical Responses to Nature’s Call: Reticent Imperatives (Routledge, 2020), Politics of the Soul in the Alcibiades I (Peter Lang Press, 2021), and Philosophical Sojourns in Aesthetics, Existence, and Education (Cambridge Scholars Publishers, 2023).
