Shyla Shehan
Shyla Shehan is a writer and engineer born and blossomed in the Midwest. She holds an MFA in Writing from the University of Nebraska where she received an American Academy of Poets Prize in 2020. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Plainsongs Summer 2021 by Corpus Callosum Press, Heartwood Literary Magazine, Gyroscope Review, The Journal of Compressed Creative Arts, GRIFFEL, and elsewhere. Shyla is Co-founder and Editor of The Good Life Review and currently lives in Omaha, Nebraska with her husband, children, and four wily cats.
